Three goals in his last two matches highlights the improving form of Danny Ings (£8.4m) in Fantasy Premier League.

Southampton’s frontman will look to extend his run of returns at home to West Bromwich Albion in Gameweek 4.

The Baggies visit St Mary’s Stadium having conceded 11 goals in the first three Gameweeks, more than any other side.

They have also conceded 11 big chances and 24 shots on target, both Premier League highs in 2020/21.

Ings is named as vice-captain of a Scout Selection lining up in a 3-4-3 formation, with Mohamed Salah (£12.1m) handed the armband.

Alex McCarthy (SOU) £4.5m

The Southampton goalkeeper claimed his first clean sheet of the season at Burnley last weekend. At a cost of just £4.5m, McCarthy looks excellent value at home to West Brom.

Andrew Robertson (LIV) £7.0m

The Liverpool left-back can bring in points at both ends of the pitch at Aston Villa. Robertson has produced either attacking or defensive returns in each of his previous nine Gameweek appearances.

Lucas Digne (EVE) £6.1m

Two assists, one clean sheet and four bonus points have helped the Everton defender claim 19 points in his first three outings in 2020/21. Digne looks a strong all-round prospect as the Toffees welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Goodison Park.

Reece James (CHE) £5.1m

The Chelsea right-back has already shown his potential for explosive returns with a 14-point haul in Gameweek 1. James’ delivery down the right will pose big problems for Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

Mohamed Salah (LIV) £12.1m

FPL’s top-scoring midfielder has three goals, one assist and 28 points in his first three matches. Salah has recorded 13 shots in the box this term, more than any other player in the game.

Riyad Mahrez (MCI) £8.4m

The Manchester City winger produced a goal, an assist and 12 points in his first start of the season in Gameweek 3. Mahrez can produce another big haul as Pep Guardiola’s side visit promoted Leeds United.

Willian (ARS) £8.0m

His delivery from set-pieces can be a major factor as Arsenal welcome Sheffield United to Emirates Stadium. The Blades have conceded 13 headed attempts so far, more than any other team.

Harvey Barnes (LEI) £7.0m

Leicester City’s winger scored and supplied an assist at home to Gameweek 4 visitors West Ham United last season. Barnes’ total of 12 shots this term is double the number that Jamie Vardy (£10.0m) has managed.

Raul Jimenez (WOL) £8.6m

A home encounter with Fulham looks very promising for the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker. The Cottagers have conceded at least three goals in all of the opening three Gameweeks.

Danny Ings (SOU) £8.4m

Saints’ talisman offers a strong option for the Gameweek 4 captaincy against West Brom’s porous defence.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE) £7.4m

Everton’s frontman has scored back-to-back hat-tricks in his last two home matches across all competitions. Calvert-Lewin has earned a massive 650,000+ transfers in for Gameweek 4, more than any other player.
