For the third successive Gameweek, there is set to be a three-way battle to be the most popular captain in Fantasy Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur pair Son Heung-min (£9.5m) and Harry Kane (£10.9m), along with Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah (£12.4m), have occupied the top three spots in the last two Gameweeks.

And that trio have very favourable home matches this weekend.

Son and Kane are at home to a Brighton & Hove Albion side who have kept just one clean sheet all season.

Son and Kane combine four times

The South Korean has soared to the top of the FPL player standings on the back of eight goals and two assists in the first six Gameweeks.

Son has totalled 69 points, producing four double-figure hauls in the last five Gameweeks.

His team-mate Kane has been just as explosive, producing two 16-point hauls and a return of 21 points in his last five outings.

Anfield hot streak

Salah faces West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool’s Egyptian has averaged nine points per home match this season.

The underlying statistics show that, when it comes to goal threat, Salah and Kane have been among the very best this term.

Their 29 shots each are the most of any player, while they also claim the top two spots for shots on target, with 13 and 12 respectively.

Don't forget Mane

Sadio Mane (£12.0m) could be the standout alternative to the popular trio.

Whereas Son, Kane and Salah are all owned by over 41 per cent, less than 10 per cent have the Senegalese in their team.

Yet Mane has outscored Salah by 37 points to 17 in the last four Gameweeks they have played in together.
