Eight players were shortlisted for October's EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.

Fans voted for their favourite from the nominees below on the EA SPORTS website before 18:00 GMT on Monday 9 November.

The votes from the public were combined with those of the 20 club captains and a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

Che Adams (SOU)

The Southampton forward opened his account for the season with a goal, as well as an assist, in the 3-3 draw at Chelsea. He followed that up by scoring again as Saints ended Everton's unbeaten start.

Conor Coady (WOL)

The Wolverhampton Wanderers captain led by example as he helped his side register clean sheets in wins over Fulham, Leeds United and Crystal Palace, as well as a draw with Newcastle United, to stay unbeaten during the month.

Pablo Fornals (WHU)

Goals at Leicester City and Liverpool were a reward for the all-round performances of the Spanish midfielder, who also set up a goal in the 3-0 win at King Power Stadium.

Jack Grealish (AVL)

The midfielder was outstanding in Aston Villa’s sensational 7-2 victory over champions Liverpool, scoring two goals and providing three assists, and also impressed in a win at Leicester.

Harry Kane (TOT)

A double in Tottenham Hotspur's excellent 6-1 win at Manchester United was followed by another two goals against West Ham United. He also set up goals in all three October appearances to move on to eight assists for the season, double the total of anyone else.

Son Heung-min (TOT)

The South Korean scored in all three matches, including the decisive goal in the 1-0 success at Burnley, to hold a joint-lead in the race for the Golden Boot race with eight goals.

Thiago Silva (CHE)

A commanding presence at the back, Chelsea did not concede a single goal in the three matches that their 36-year-old summer signing played.

Kyle Walker (MCI)
P4 W2 D2 L0 G1 A0 CS2

The right-back marked his 100th Premier League appearance for Manchester City with the winning goal against boyhood club Sheffield United, and also earned two clean sheets in an unbeaten October.
