For the third time this season Harry Kane (£11.1m) was the most popular captain among Fantasy Premier League managers.
More than 1.4million handed the Tottenham Hotspur forward the armband, with another million selecting his team-mate Son Heung-min (£9.8m).
Kane rewarded his backers with his 11th goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Fulham which helped him total eight points.
Those who plumped for Son were less fortunate; the game's highest points scorer returned a rare blank.

Bruno Fernandes (£11.3m) was the second most-popular captain ahead of Gameweek 18.
But the Portuguese also frustrated the 1.4m who entrusted him with the armband, blanking for only the second time in 14 away matches since joining Manchester United.
Furthermore, Fernandes picked up his fourth yellow card of the campaign and will face a one-match suspension if booked in either of his next two matches.
Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m), chosen just behind Son overall, was the No 1 captain pick among the top 100 FPL managers.

The Belgian was also the top transfer target ahead of Gameweek 18, with Manchester City hosting Brighton & Hove Albion.
Against the Seagulls De Bruyne had three shots saved in the first half alone and also passed up the chance to take a late penalty, which was missed by substitute Raheem Sterling (£11.4m).
He did provide the assist for the only goal of the game, which was scored by Phil Foden (£6.2m).
The second most-bought player, Callum Wilson (£6.6m), disappointed his 545,000+ new owners with a blank in Newcastle United's 1-0 defeat by Sheffield United.
And the 413,000+ Fantasy managers who brought in Kieran Tierney (£5.4m) were shocked to see the Arsenal defender missing from the squad for the home match with Crystal Palace due to "muscle tightness".

And the fixtureless Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) and Jamie Vardy (£10.2m) made way as Fantasy managers looked to redistribute funds in their squads.
