A very favourable pair of home matches have made Tomas Soucek (£5.3m) the leading target for managers in Double Gameweek 19 of Fantasy Premier League.
The West Ham United midfielder is set to face Burnley and West Bromwich Albion over the next round of fixtures.
As a result, Soucek is the most-bought player ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 GMT deadline, earning more than 226,000 new owners.
Soucek has stepped up his output recently, scoring four of his five goals for the season in the previous seven Gameweeks.
Indeed, he has produced double-figure hauls in two of his last three appearances.
Soucek is included in a Scout Selection that lines up in a 4-5-1 formation, with Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) handed the armband and Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) named vice-captain.
Emiliano Martinez (AVL) £5.1m
Aston Villa’s Argentinian has averaged 5.5 points per match on his way to the top of the FPL goalkeeper standings. Martinez offers save point and clean sheet potential for his meetings with Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Ben Chilwell (CHE) £6.1m
His ability to bring in points at both ends of the pitch lifts the appeal of Chelsea’s left-back at Fulham and Leicester City. Chilwell has combined two goals and four assists with five clean sheets over his 14 appearances this term.
Ruben Dias (MCI) £5.8m
The Portuguese has helped Man City keep six clean sheets in their last eight Gameweeks. Dias has started every Premier League match since he joined City and offers a rotation-free option in defence for their pair of home encounters with Crystal Palace and Villa.
James Justin (LEI) £5.0m
Visits from Southampton and Chelsea look promising for FPL’s most-popular defender. Justin has produced one goal, two assists and five clean sheets for his 24.3 per cent ownership.
Vladimir Coufal (WHU) £4.7m
Three assists and four clean sheets in his 13 appearances highlight Coufal’s all-round potential. Since making his debut in Gameweek 4, his 19 key passes rank joint-top for West Ham along with Aaron Cresswell (£5.4m).
Mohamed Salah (LIV) £12.5m
Liverpool’s Egyptian has averaged 8.3 points per home match ahead of his Anfield encounters with Manchester United and Burnley. At home, Salah’s 13 shots on target rank second among all players this season.
Kevin De Bruyne (MCI) £11.8m
The Man City playmaker has recorded double-figure returns in two of his previous five outings at the Etihad Stadium. At home, De Bruyne’s 25 shots and 20 chances created are both team-leading totals.
Bruno Fernandes (MUN) £11.3m
The midfielder has produced five double-figure hauls on the road, more than any other player in FPL. However, Fantasy managers should be aware that he has accumulated four yellow cards this season and another booking at Liverpool would rule him out of Man Utd's second match, at Fulham.
Anwar El Ghazi (AVL) £5.8m
Aston Villa’s Dutchman has scored all five of his goals for the season in his last six matches. From Gameweek 12 onwards, El Ghazi’s 27 shots and 16 shots on target are both more than any other player in Fantasy.
Tomas Soucek (WHU) £5.3m
The Czech is the top value midfielder in 2020/21, returning 14.5 points per million spent.
Jamie Vardy (LEI) £10.1m
The Leicester striker has produced attacking points in six of his last seven starts, scoring three goals and supplying six assists in that period. Vardy has delivered five double-figure hauls this season and is among the top options for the Gameweek 19 armband.
