Match summary

25 Jan 2021

Nathan Broadhead inspired Everton up to fifth in Premier League 2 Division 1 with a 4-2 win at Leicester City.

Midfielder Broadhead set up the opening goal for 16-year-old Thierry Small, who on Sunday became Everton's youngest-ever player when he came on against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.

Leicester equalised through Callum Wright but Einar Iversen converted another Broadhead pass before Con Ouzounidis ensured a 3-1 Everton lead at the break.

Leicester threatened a late comeback when Jacob Wakeling scored on 70 minutes, but Broadhead added his name to the scoresheet to lift Everton four points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
