The form of the Manchester City midfielder has made him a top target for Fantasy managers.

Gundogan has scored all five of his goals for the season in his last seven matches.

That has earned him 250,000+ transfers in ahead of a trip to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.

Gundogan’s appeal in Fantasy has been further boosted by an injury to team-mate Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m).

The Belgian is likely to be absent for four to six weeks with a hamstring problem, lifting Gundogan’s prospects of more starts in the coming matches.

And the underlying numbers show why he has been such a success recently.

Gundogan has recorded 12 shots inside the penalty area in the last four Gameweeks, more than any other midfielder in FPL.

His 14 shots since Gameweek 15 are a team-leading total, while his eight shots in the box rank joint-top with Jamie Vardy (£10.1m).

With Vardy now injured for the Goodison Park encounter, Barnes could be the man to make the difference for Leicester.
