The next six players to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame will be announced this week.
The Premier League Hall of Fame was launched last month to recognise and celebrate the exceptional skill and talent of players who have graced the League since its inception in 1992.
The six former players will be announced from 18-20 May and will join inaugural inductees Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry as recipients of the League’s highest individual honour.

They have been selected by the public and the Premier League Awards Panel following a two-week voting period.
The following players made up the 23-man shortlist: Tony Adams, David Beckham, Dennis Bergkamp, Sol Campbell, Eric Cantona, Andrew Cole, Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba, Les Ferdinand, Rio Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler, Steven Gerrard, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, Matt Le Tissier, Michael Owen, Peter Schmeichel, Paul Scholes, John Terry, Robin van Persie, Nemanja Vidic, Patrick Vieira and Ian Wright.
Hall of Fame selection criteria
The shortlist was compiled by the Premier League following an assessment of former players who meet the Hall of Fame selection criteria.
These are based on career statistics including the number of appearances, goals, assists, clean sheets and individual and team honours.
To be eligible for the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2021, players must have been retired by 1 August 2020 and only a player’s Premier League career was considered in their candidacy, not their performances in other competitions during the Premier League era.
Each inductee will receive a personalised medallion, engraved with the year of their induction.
