Xisco Munoz was the head coach of Watford between December 2020 and October 2021.
The Spaniard spent most of his playing career in his home country, winning LaLiga and the UEFA Cup in 2003/04 under Rafael Benitez at Valencia.
Spells with Real Betis and Levante followed before more success in Georgia with Dinamo Tbilisi, where Munoz won back-to-back top-flight titles and Georgian Cups.
The winger retired in 2016 with third-tier Spanish side Gimnastic de Tarragona, where he began his coaching career.
He was an assistant at former club Dinamo Tbilisi from January 2019 until the end of the year before returning in August 2020 as head coach and winning the club’s 18th league title a few months later.
Munoz replaced Vladimir Ivic at Vicarage Road on 21 December 2020 with Watford fifth in the Championship.
He went on to secure a second-place finish and promotion to the Premier League, with no side collecting more points than the Hornets after Munoz’s appointment.
In early-October 2021, Watford and Munoz parted company.
