The Scout assesses the opening player prices in 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League and their implications.
Target Hammers at the start?
West Ham United can provide strong value at both ends of the pitch early on.
The Hammers face Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Southampton in the first four Gameweeks.

In defence, Aaron Cresswell (£5.5m) combined 11 assists with 11 clean sheets last term, while Vladimir Coufal (£5.0m) delivered nine assists and nine clean sheets in his debut campaign.

Up front, Michail Antonio (£7.5m) could also emerge as a popular mid-price option for opening squads.
His average of 4.5 points per match was bettered only by the on-loan Jesse Lingard for David Moyes’ men.
Fancy another Pukki party?
Teemu Pukki will cost managers £6.0m as Norwich City return to the Premier League.
The Finn was involved in 30 of his side’s 75 league goals in last season’s Championship, scoring 26 and assisting a further four.
Pukki's 2020/21 goals
Pukki’s 114 shots inside the penalty area were more than double any other Norwich player.
However, the Canaries’ opening schedule may put off early investment.
They face three of last season’s top five sides in succession at the start, taking on Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester City.
