The Scout on why Watford winger's new owners should consider captaining him against Leeds

The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 7 of 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League.

Ismaila Sarr (WAT) £6.3m

The Watford winger has emerged as a top target for Fantasy managers.

Sarr is the third most-bought player in the Gameweek, earning 350,000+ new owners ahead of a trip to Leeds United.

The Senegalese travels to Elland Road on the back of three goals and 24 points in the last two Gameweeks against Norwich City and Newcastle United.

That has taken him to third place among midfielders in Fantasy on 39 points.

Sarr's GW6 goal

The underlying statistics show why Sarr has been such a big success recently.

His 10 shots in the box in the last four Gameweeks ranked third among FPL midfielders, bettered only by the 14 of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (£12.6m) and Sadio Mane (£11.9m).

Sarr's nine shots on target also placed joint-top with Salah among all players during that period.

Furthermore, his five big chances were joint-second with Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) and Jamie Vardy (£10.4m), just behind the seven of Salah.

Those numbers are hugely encouraging when assessed against Sarr’s displays in the first two Gameweeks.

His team-mates failed to supply him with any big chances in that period, while he managed only two shots on target.

Captaincy potential

Sarr's next opponents Leeds are one of five sides who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

They have conceded 112 shots, including 73 shots inside the box, both more than any other side.

This suggests Sarr can reward his growing number of owners in Fantasy, offering a strong option for the captaincy in Gameweek 7.
