This October marks Black History Month and the Premier League are celebrating the incredible contribution players of African and Caribbean descent have had in making the competition what it is today.

Over the last 30 years, players of African and Caribbean descent have set a host of records and landmarks that have left an indelible mark on the Premier League.

These include the first goal scored, by Brian Deane, Sadio Mane's fastest hat-trick and the joint-highest number of assists in a single season set by Budweiser Hall of Fame inductee Thierry Henry.
