The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 8 of 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League.

Gabriel Jesus (MCI) £8.6m

Update: Jesus since ruled out of GW8

In his sixth season at Manchester City, the Brazilian finally appears to have secured a regular spot.

After appearing as a substitute in the Gameweek 1 loss at Tottenham Hotspur, he has started each of the subsequent six matches on the right of Man City’s front three.

Despite his wide role, Jesus, who is listed as a forward in Fantasy, has proven a key performer for the champions.

He has scored twice and also supplied four assists, earning a total of 41 points.

That includes a goal against Chelsea and an assist against Liverpool over the last two Gameweeks.

By contrast, Man City’s midfielders are struggling to deliver consistent returns.

Their top-scoring players in that position are Jack Grealish (£7.9m) and Ferran Torres (£6.9m), with 26 points apiece.

Home form

A run of four home matches in the next six Gameweeks can bring Man City’s attacking players to the attention of Fantasy managers.

Pep Guardiola’s side entertain Burnley, Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham United in that run.

Crucially, Jesus has been among his side's most explosive players at the Etihad Stadium this term.

Over Man City’s three home matches so far, he has returned double-figures twice and averaged 8.3 points per match.

That suggests Jesus could prove the most reliable performer in Guardiola’s attack over the coming period.
