The Scout’s panel of experts on what to do with West Ham United stars Michail Antonio (£8.2m) and Said Benrahma (£6.5m) as they struggle to replicate their early-season form ahead of a testing run of fixtures.
What the experts say
Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)
Benrahma is an easy sell for me with other budget midfielders showing form but I'd still want to keep Antonio. Few other forwards are delivering at the moment and in the form that West Ham are in, you wouldn't bet against them scoring well even in the tougher fixtures.
Verdict: Sell Benrahma, keep Antonio

I sold Benrahma a few weeks back and have no regrets there. His early-season form has significantly dropped off. Antonio is a far more difficult decision.
He's top across all measures on the ICT Index and to be honest, I'm not sure who I'd go to if I sold him. A number of key forwards are underperforming right now, however the next two fixtures for Ivan Toney (£6.6m) look great, so if selling Antonio, go for him.
Verdict: Sell Benrahma, keep Antonio

Antonio is a tough call. While I'd like to move him out as West Ham's fixtures turn, I can't bring myself to do it. This is mainly because most forwards have question marks and Antonio can score against anyone on his day. Also considering that he has risen in price by £0.7m, trying to get him back if I did move on could break my team structure.
I'm fine with moving on Benrahma as a number of budget midfielders are in strong form. This week a move to Emile Smith Rowe (£5.6m) makes sense but if you can wait a week, the fixtures improve for the emerging Maxwel Cornet (£6.0m).
Verdict: Sell Benrahma, keep Antonio

It feels like there is a little lull among forwards at the moment as there aren't great fixtures just yet for the options at our disposal. I'm happy to keep Antonio and am looking at Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.4m) or Harry Kane (£12.1m) for a place alongside him.
I don't own Benrahma but would keep given his price, unless you have money to upgrade to Son Heung-min (£10.2m) in a week or two.
Verdict: Keep Benrahma, keep Antonio
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
You have to play the fixtures with Benrahma, at least, with the emergence of other midfielders in that bracket. With Antonio, if you don't have other fires to fight in your team, I'd play the fixtures, too, and go towards another striker like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.0m). I wouldn't hurry to remove either, though.
Verdict: Sell Benrahma, keep Antonio unless you can afford Aubameyang
Holly Shand (@HollyShand)
I'm an Antonio owner and I'm happy to hold on to him for the time being. West Ham have poor fixtures but the team are in good form, having just scored four against Aston Villa. With most forwards faltering right now, he's an easy hold with his current underlying numbers.
Verdict: Keep Antonio
