As Double Gameweek 26 arrives, Fantasy Premier League managers who have both Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and their Triple Captain chip are weighing up the potential rewards against the risk of rotation.

Liverpool have two mouthwatering home fixtures against Norwich City and Leeds United, but they come in the middle of a gruelling period where the Reds play 10 times in 27 days, including next Sunday’s EFL Cup final against Chelsea.
“It’s an unbelievably good Double Gameweek,” says Fantasy expect Az Phillips. “It’s probably the best Double Gameweek I’ve ever seen.
“I can’t remember a team like Liverpool having two home games against such poor defences, so it just looks tailor-made for Salah to absolutely run riot.
“But then you think you’ve got this [EFL Cup] final coming up, you’ve got the FA Cup, you’ve got all these other games. Plus he’s been at the Africa Cup of Nations and played a lot of minutes in that, 120 minutes a lot of the time.
“It’s very feasible that he could be rested in one of the games, or come off the bench, or be subbed early.
“But I think the potential, if Salah starts both of those games, is so high that I think everyone’s got to consider the Triple Captain chip.”
