Defending ePremier League champions Manchester City have crashed out with a match still to play in the 2021/22 group stage, while the 2019/20 winner Tom Leese has also been eliminated with his team Tottenham Hotspur.
Man City suffered their third straight defeat in Group B, with MCFC Ryan losing the first leg 3-0 against Burnley and his team-mate BhughesyFIFA going down 2-0 for a 5-0 aggregate defeat.
Burnley duo Brad Colston and Bur_Josh are in the running for a quarter-final spot ahead of the final round of matches.
With Liverpool already qualified in top spot, Everton currently lie in the runners-up spot after CallumN17 and Jas Singh beat Leicester City 4-1.
But Burnley will now play their match in hand against Leicester, and a victory would take them through to the next stage on goal difference.
Knockout blow
In Group D, Leese’s Spurs side were eliminated after the top two teams, Aston Villa and Norwich City, played out a 3-3 draw which knocked out all three teams below them, including Newcastle United and Watford.
Newcastle will at least depart with a memorable win, after GetRiggedKid_ earned a dramatic 4-3 aggregate victory over Watford with the last kick of the tie.

After winning their opening two matches, Bees duo SamBrwster and czohino drew 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion - who have drawn all three of their ties - to secure a top-two finish alongside Chelsea.
Brighton have been eliminated with a match still to play, despite being unbeaten, while Arsenal and West Ham United were also knocked out before ActualEmperor14 grabbed a late 4-3 aggregate victory for the Gunners in the clubs’ derby duel.
