Everton stars Tom Davies and Anthony Gordon made a surprise delivery of Easter eggs and gifts when they visited Zoe’s Place, a local baby and infant hospice.

"The work they do here at Zoe's Place is fantastic," Davies told the official club website after meeting the children, their families and staff.

"It's just such a very loving and caring place for the kids to come to, and for the families to get some rest. It's also close to where I grew up, and the work they are doing here touches my heart."

Michelle Wright, head of care at Zoe's Place, thanked Everton for their ongoing support of the facility, which provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care to children up to the age of five, who have life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

"It's just fantastic for the children and their families," added Wright. "It just means the world to them, it really lifts them up."
