Arsenal go into their penultimate match knowing that two victories will guarantee them UEFA Champions League football next season. They lie in fifth place, two points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who earned a 1-0 win at home to relegation-threatened Burnley on Sunday.

The Gunners have won their last seven meetings with Newcastle in all competitions without conceding a single goal – the only top-flight side to beat another in more consecutive matches without conceding is Liverpool, with nine, against West Bromwich Albion between 2002 and 2010.

Newcastle have won their final home league match in six of the last eight seasons (L2), with the two exceptions being defeats against Liverpool in 2018/19 and 2019/20.
