Ndidi is expected to complete his move this week and will wear the No 25 shirt.
The Nigeria international has been at Genk for two years, helping the club reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League this season as group winners.
After representing his country at Under-17 and Under-20 levels, Ndidi made the first of five senior appearance for the Super Eagles in October 2015.
