How to set-up two-factor authentication

1 Jul 2024

Two-factor authentication

You can add an extra layer of security to your Premier League account by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). After setting up 2FA, each time you log in you will need to enter a one-time password that is generated by an authenticator app. You can enable and disable 2FA via Your Account.

What is an authenticator app?

Authenticator apps are separate to the Premier League app and are used to generate a one-time password that will confirm that it is you who is logging into your Premier League account. To enable 2FA on your Premier League account you will need to download an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Oracle Mobile Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Authenticator apps will generate a one-time password that will allow you to enable 2FA and log-in once enabled.

After you have downloaded your authenticator app, you can enable 2FA here.
