The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 17 of 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League.

Wilfried Zaha (CRY) £7.5m

The Crystal Palace star has the form and fixtures to immediately reward managers when the season resumes on 26 December.

Zaha impressed in the Eagles’ friendly encounter with Spanish outfit Real Valladolid on Saturday, scoring both their goals in a 2-1 win at Selhurst Park.

Palace's upcoming schedule lifts Zaha's appeal as a short-term pick in midfield as managers begin to finalise their squads in the current unlimited free transfers period.

The Eagles return to action with back-to-back matches against promoted sides, hosting Fulham in Gameweek 17 before visiting AFC Bournemouth

Zaha delivered his career-high haul of 150 points last term, his first season under manager Patrick Vieira.

He has once again been their talisman in the current campaign. His total of six goals is at least double that of any other Palace player.

The underlying numbers further highlight Zaha’s influence on the Eagles' attack.

His 35 shots, 26 shots in the box, eight big chances and 15 shots on target all rank top for Vieira’s side.

Fulham and AFC Bournemouth, meanwhile, have both struggled in defence this season.

The Cottagers’ record of 26 goals against is better than only three other sides, while Bournemouth have conceded a league-high 32 goals.

A guaranteed starter who will avoid rotation, Zaha is a very handy short-term option in midfield.
