Havertz has scored twice and supplied an assist since the season resumed, totalling 24 points.
His all-round influence on the Blues’ attack is further highlighted by the underlying numbers.
The German’s 13 shots in the box and five big chances were both more than double any team-mate across the last four Gameweeks.
His 10 chances created is also a team-leading total and ranks top among forwards.
Havertz’s recent displays also fare well when assessed against his early-season showings.
Per match, his shots in the box have risen from 1.6 to 2.6, while his chances created are up from 0.5 to 2.0.
In particular, he has been provided with better quality scoring opportunities of late.
Indeed, Havertz’s five big chances in the last four Gameweeks betters his total of four from the opening 16 Gameweeks.
Vulnerable hosts
Liverpool, meanwhile, have suffered an extended run of poor form in defence.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last eight matches and have conceded three goals to Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion over the last two Gameweeks.
They have allowed their opponents 14 big chances from Gameweek 17 onwards, the second-most in the competition.
Havertz has the improving threat to take advantage of his hosts’ problems and get more attacking returns on Saturday.
