Another weekend of scintillating Premier League action is on the horizon with Matchweek 23.

The sparks start flying bright and early on Saturday with a London derby between West Ham United and Chelsea. The Irons have moved out of the relegation zone by earning four points in their last two matches, including an impressive draw at Newcastle United.

David Moyes' side will hope to keep up the positive momentum against the Blues. Chelsea brought in several reinforcements in the January window, but were held scoreless in their last outing against Fulham. Saturday’s match will be another opportunity for the star-studded team to gel and get three points.

One of the most historic rivalries in the Premier League will take place on Monday at Anfield when Liverpool host Everton for the Merseyside derby. This matchup has been dominated in recent years by Liverpool, but the reverse fixture at Goodison was a draw, and Everton will be eager to play spoiler on the road.

Under new manager Sean Dyche, Everton earned a massive 1-0 win against league leaders Arsenal, and now will look to carry that momentum into a derby victory. Liverpool has struggled to find their form, most recently losing 3-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers. A win over Everton would be a solid consolation prize in a challenging season.

NBC Spotlight

NBC will see AFC Bournemouth host Newcastle on Saturday afternoon. After a run of impressive performances that saw the Cherries move up the table, they have since faltered and find themselves back in the bottom.

Winless in their last six league matches, Gary O'Neil will need to dig deep to earn a result against Newcastle. After bursting into the top four with aplomb, the Magpies’ have slowed slightly over recent fixtures, managing only draws against West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Newcastle's run of results has seen them fall to fourth after being passed by Manchester United. To keep a firm grasp on a top-four spot, Eddie Howe's side will need to take care of business on Saturday.

Be sure to tune into this one. Watch the match on NBC at 12:30 PM ET.
