Ings made an immediate impact in his first start for the Hammers last weekend, scoring twice in their 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest to collect 13 points in Fantasy.
His display against Forest highlighted his potential for huge hauls.
Ings has produced three double-figure scores this season in just nine starts for West Ham and his former club Aston Villa.
In terms of frequency of goals this term, Ings’ numbers fare very well when assessed against those of other forwards.
His average of 127 minutes per goal ranks third in his position among players with more than three goals.
Only Erling Haaland (£12.2m) and Harry Kane (£11.7m) have scored at a quicker rate, netting every 71 and 124 minutes respectively.
Ings now looks well-placed to retain his role as the Hammers’ focal point, offering managers a cut-price source of goals for the remainder of the season.
