Dalot had enjoyed a successful return to action prior to the Red Devils’ 7-0 loss at Liverpool last weekend.
He produced six points in each of his three outings before the match at Anfield, combining two clean sheets with an assist.
The Portuguese has been particularly reliable when playing at Old Trafford this season.
He has averaged five points per start at home, thanks to an assist, four clean sheets and eight bonus points.
Strong attacking influence
Despite being limited to just nine home outings due to injury, Dalot has been among Man Utd's best attacking players in those matches.
His totals of 13 shots and 16 key passes both put him among Man Utd’s top five players at Old Trafford in 2022/23.
Southampton, meanwhile, have struggled in attack on their travels this term.
They have scored only nine goals in 13 away matches, netting just once in their last three.
When that clean-sheet potential is combined with his attacking threat and the prospect of bonus points, Dalot can deliver a bumper haul on Sunday.
