Brighton & Hove Albion have announced that Solly March has signed a new deal at the club. 

The 28-year-old's new contract will run to June 2026, with an additional one-year option for Brighton.

The midfielder has been in a superb run of form, scoring seven Premier League goals this season, all since Boxing Day, including the winner against Crystal Palace on Wednesday. 

His goals have helped Brighton dream of European qualification.

The fight for fourth spot

They currently sit seventh, but are only six points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth, with two matches in hand. 

"It’s great news," head coach Roberto De Zerbi said. "Solly deserves this new contract.

"We are all happy for him and I am happy for him because I want all the great players to stay with me."

March and Brighton are next in Premier League action when they host Brentford on 1 April.

Before then, they are in FA Cup quarter-final action on Sunday at home to Grimsby Town.
