The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts debate who is the third-best Liverpool pick for Blank Gameweek 32 after Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.4m).

In the 6-1 win at Leeds United, Liverpool needed Diogo Jota's (£8.7m) immense work-rate in the front three. But I expect Darwin Nunez (£8.7m) to start against Nottingham Forest.

This is likely to be a contest where Liverpool enjoy more possession and will create opportunities for the Uruguayan to plunder the points.

I can't help but think that I must own an additional Liverpool attacker against the poorest travellers in the league. The problem is there is no security of starts.
If on Free Hit, pick who you like and hope to get lucky because there is a haul to chase here, especially as you will have a bench if needed.

With how leaky Forest have been on the road, a second attacker is a must. Forward spots are at a premium, so I'm currently leaning towards Cody Gakpo (£7.6m), but Jota is a great choice as well if you are going without one of Gabriel Jesus (£8.2m), Dominic Solanke (£5.5m) or Ollie Watkins (£7.7m).

With Jota, Nunez, Gakpo, Roberto Firmino (£8.0m) and Luis Diaz (£7.8m) all competing for attacking slots, I am likely to go with another defender.
Andy Robertson (£6.8m) has been less attacking over the last two matches and I would prefer only one of my three defender slots to be a Liverpool player. Therefore, I'll go with Alisson (£5.4m) as my goalkeeper.

Gakpo and Jota put on their best performances of the season against Leeds and will play into our thoughts now as a possible third Liverpool pick. They are certainly ahead of Nunez in the picking order, but there is still some risk of rotation with Diaz coming back.
I would definitely avoid doubling up on the defence as they have been porous this season.

Jota feels like the most explosive third Liverpool option. While owners will be a little worried about his starting spot, we can hope that his brace against Leeds means he keeps his place in the side.

With Alexander-Arnold in his new inverted full-back role, I was not happy seeing Robertson's positioning, where he almost occupied the left centre-back position.
Therefore, punting on a third attacker is the way forward. Either Gakpo or Jota feel like good picks. I prefer the former because he is the furthest forward and classified as a midfielder in FPL.
