Sheffield United have sealed promotion to the Premier League for the 2023/24 season, securing an automatic return after a two-year absence.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side wrapped up a top-two finish in the Championship with Wednesday's 2-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion, thanks to second-half goals from Sander Berge and Anel Ahmedhodzic.
They join Championship winners Burnley as two of the three promoted teams.

The 2023/24 campaign will be the Blades’ sixth season in the Premier League.
Sheff Utd’s highest finish came in 2019/20, when they took ninth position in a season where they claimed victories over Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as a 3-3 draw against Manchester United.
Blades players and fans will be eagerly awaiting the release of the 2023/24 Premier League fixtures on Thursday 15 June, ahead of the opening weekend of the season on Saturday 12 August.
The third and final promotion spot will be decided in the Championship playoff final on Saturday 27 May.
The four teams finishing from third to sixth will be split into two-legged semi-final ties before the final at Wembley.
Currently, those four teams are Luton Town, Middlesbrough, Coventry City and Sunderland, with the first two already guaranteed a playoff place.
There are two matches to play, with the finale on Monday 8 May, and up to nine teams could be in the hunt for the remaining two playoff spots at the end of the regular season.
