Harry Cardwell scored the only goal in the 16th minute as Brighton & Hove Albion beat Swansea City 2-0 to inflict a second successive defeat on Division 2 leaders.
Cardwell tapped the ball into an empty net, after good work by Jordan Davies, to wrap up the points at Crawley against a Swansea side who lost to second-placed Fulham last week.
The result left the Seagulls eighth in the table. Swansea are seven points clear at the top after Fulham beat Middlesbrough on Monday afternoon.
