The Scout’s panel of experts discuss how to replace Solly March (£5.3m) in Fantasy Premier League, if the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder is ruled out of Double Gameweek 36.

What the experts say
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) is the easy move if you don't already have him, but also take a look at Newcastle United's Joelinton (£6.0m). With four goals and two assists in his last seven matches, he could be a decent differential for those looking to make a late mini-league surge.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

As a March owner I will be selling him for Mac Allister, which feels a little boring at this point in the season, but with the double Double it's hard to avoid. If I had the money to afford Cody Gakpo (£7.7m) I would consider that move as Liverpool have three good fixtures to end the season and all are must-win.

Pras (@Pras_fpl)

The easy answer is to get whoever of Mac Allister or Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) you don't own. With two back-to-back Doubles it makes sense. Looking at someone more left-field, Pascal Gross (£5.4m) could be an option, especially if Joel Veltman (£4.6m) is out and Gross plays as an attacking right-back rather than in central midfield alongside Moises Caicedo (£5.0m).

Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)

Going for either Mitoma or Mac Allister makes perfect sense. Alternatively, you could look at the teams battling against relegation. Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure (£5.3m) and Dwight McNeil (£5.1m) are also great picks.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

Given the Double Gameweek, it makes sense to move for either Mitoma or Mac Allister. If you don't already own three Newcastle players then it's an opportunity to get Joelinton or Joe Willock (£4.7m).

Nick (@WGTA_Nick)

As a March owner, I am looking sideways at his team-mate Mac Allister. Two Brighton Double Gameweeks are coming up and he has been a key part of their attack.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Most managers will likely move March over to team-mate Mac Allister, but Brighton's Double Gameweek 36 is tricky. If I owned March I'd be tempted to move to Joelinton as a differential for Newcastle's Double Gameweek against Leeds United and Brighton.
