Manchester City Under-18s could make history tonight when they host West Ham United Under-18s at the Etihad Stadium, targeting a record-breaking third consecutive Premier League U18 National final success.
Ben Wilkinson's Man City side have won the final in the last two seasons, beating Southampton 2-1 last campaign and Fulham 3-1 the year before.
“We’ve been in a great place in the last two or three years in terms of the level of player we’ve produced and it’s just a case of reminding them they’ve done fantastically well to get here," Man City U18s lead coach Wilkinson told the official club website.
"It’s not something that happens all the time. This is a great opportunity for them to create their own little bit of history.”
City were crowned Premier League North division champions for a fourth successive season in April, finishing four points clear of Sunderland.
