Danny Welbeck scored the final goal as Arsenal beat Chelsea 4-1 to move level on points with their opponents in Division 1.

Rob Holding headed Arsenal in front and set up Donyell Malen for the second at London Colney.

Reiss Nelson extended the lead for an Arsenal team that featured several players with first-team experience before Ike Ugbo pulled a goal back.

Welbeck capped off his successful 90 minutes with a penalty.

Arsenal remain fifth, on 25 points, below Chelsea on goal difference only.

They next host Tottenham Hotspur, on 3 March in PL2, while Chelsea are at Southampton on 6 March.
