Having beaten Stoke City 4-0 in their past two Premier League meetings, Mauricio Pochettino is not expecting another comfortable match for Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, especially against opponents who come into Sunday's fixture with more time to prepare.
“I’m sure we’ll have a tough game against Stoke, they are very fresh,” the Spurs manager said in reference to Mark Hughes's squad having mid-season training in Dubai while Spurs were in UEFA Europa League action on Thursday.
