As his side seek a first Premier League victory at Old Trafford, Eddie Howe says AFC Bournemouth need to “defy the odds” when they travel to Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime.

Howe insists the Cherries, who lie 14th in the table, can revive their form against a team undefeated in 16 league fixtures.

"We've always tried to defy the odds here and we'll have to do that again,” Howe told afcb.co.uk. "We need to be very strong as group.”
