Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas says he has been driven by a desire to prove people wrong after being told at the start of his career that he was too small.
Clucas, who has scored in each of England's top five leagues in five seasons, struck his first Premier League goal earlier this month against Leicester City, who released him at the age of 16.

Now 26 years old and 6ft 2in tall, he said: "I went on a few trials and every team just seemed to be saying the same: 'It's not that you're not good enough, you're just too small and we can't really take the risk of signing you and hoping you have a growth spurt later on'.
"When I got released, that was always in the forefront of my mind; trying to prove people wrong and trying to prove myself right, that I could get there, because I always knew I had the ability."
