The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts look back at their best and worst moments of 2022/23.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Best: The decision to bring in Callum Wilson in Double Gameweek 36 over Alexander Isak and hand him the captain's armband was season defining for me.

Worst: Selling Harry Kane for Erling Haaland ahead of Gameweek 2 and being punished immediately. The right call was to sell Mohamed Salah, which I eventually did to have both Haaland and Kane, but it was a few weeks too late.

Pras (@Pras_FPL)

Best: When I triple captained Marcus Rashford instead of the temptation of going with Haaland in many other weeks.

Worst: I captained Salah for five points in Gameweek 9 and Haaland ran riot with three goals and two assists against Manchester United.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

Best: My best moments of the season were late on, and were both bringing in differential forwards and giving them the armband. Captaining Callum Wilson in DGW36 for 48 points, for example. Likewise with Gabriel Jesus in Gameweek 38.

Worst: Choosing Kai Havertz over Ollie Watkins is my stand out fail of the season. The swing was over 30 points across the handful of weeks that followed, and I lost huge ground in overall rank because I was too stubborn to jump ship.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

Best: Gameweek 1. Players like Gabriel Martinelli, Salah, Dejan Kulusevski and Haaland all came through for me straight away.

Worst: When I backed Salah as captain when others had Brighton & Hove Albion players in a Double Gameweek. He missed a penalty and got 0 points and I was heavily punished.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

Best: Triple captaining Marcus Rashford in Double Gameweek 22 helped to get a Gameweek rank of 4,000, which jumped me up in the ranks after some poor weeks post FIFA World Cup 2022.

Worst: Wildcarding in Isak rather than Wilson and then seeing it as a sideways move to make the change before DGW36.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@Zophar666)

Best: Owning Reece James for his goal against Tottenham Hotspur early on in the season was a great feeling as a Chelsea fan, even though we went on to draw that match.

Worst: Getting the 50/50 call between Isak and Wilson wrong in DGW36.

Pranil Sheith (@lateriser12)

Best: Triple captaining Rashford for his 60 point haul was probably my favorite moment of the season.

Worst: That has to be Haaland's 23 point haul against Man Utd. I didn't even have him as captain that week and being a Man Utd fan, that was a disaster.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Best: My Bench Boost in Double Gameweek 29 bagged me 141 points, nearly double that week's average - definitely a highlight!

Worst: Backing Isak over Wilson in DGW36 was a major 'worst moment' for sure! What a swing in points!
