Arsenal have confirmed the departure of Granit Xhaka to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 30-year-old joined Arsenal in 2016 from Borussia Monchengladbach and went on to play 225 times in the Premier League, scoring 17 goals.

During his seven seasons at Emirates Stadium, Xhaka helped the Gunners win two FA Cups and the Community Shield twice.
In his final match for the club, Xhaka scored twice as Arsenal ended their title-challenging 2022/23 season with a 5-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"We are saying goodbye to a fantastic player and person loved by all of us," manager Mikel Arteta told the club's official website.
"It has been an incredible journey together for him and he has given absolutely everything for this club. The influence Granit has had on his team-mates on the pitch and colleagues at the club will tell you just how popular he is.
“We cannot thank Granit enough for his service and contribution to this club over the years. We wish Granit and his family all the best in the next step of their lives.”
