Riyad Mahrez has been left out of the squad for Manchester City's pre-season tour to Japan and South Korea amid reports that he is close to moving to Al Ahli of the Saudi League.
The Algerian winger has had a five-year stay with City, playing a huge part in winning three successive Premier League titles and securing the Treble last season.
The 32-year-old Mahrez has been one of the Premier League's best players in his nine years in the competition.
After being part of the squad that won Leicester City promotion from the Championship in 2013/14, he helped the club retain its top-flight status in 2014/15 before being a key player in the Foxes' unbelievable title win the next season.
His 17 goals and 10 assists helped the Foxes win the Premier League in one of the competition's most amazing stories, and earned him the PFA Player of the Year award.

Mahrez joined Man City ahead of the 2018/19 season and immediately secured his second title.
In total, Mahrez lifted the Premier League Trophy five times, scoring 82 goals and providing 61 assists in 284 league appearances.
Man City are due to play Yokohama F. Marinos and Bayern Munich in Tokyo facing Atletico Madrid in Seoul.
Injured De Bruyne in squad
Kevin De Bruyne has been included in the squad for City's three matches despite the hamstring injury he suffered in the UEFA Champions League final victory over Internazionale Milano.
Mateo Kovacic is also part of the group following his transfer from Chelsea this summer, and Joao Cancelo is in the 25-man group after returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich in the second half of last season.
