Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah were among the goals but question marks remain over Liverpool's defence after their latest pre-season friendly.
Jurgen Klopp's side drew 4-4 with German team Greuther Furth, with Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Alexis Mac Allister and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who once again played in midfield, all starting.
However, there was no involvement for Dominik Szoboszlai, who was left out of the Liverpool squad as a precaution due to a minor ankle issue suffered in training.
Klopp though said that the midfielder could be available for their next pre-season friendly, against Leicester City on 30 July, but definitely will be when facing Bayern Munich three days later.
"If we would have today a Premier League game or whatever, he could play," Klopp told the club's official website.
"So, we don't take a risk and we will see what we will do with the Leicester game after travel. But for the Bayern game he will be ready, definitely."
How it unfolded
Liverpool took the lead through Diaz, who showed great skill to move away from a few defenders before placing the ball into the bottom right corner.

Liverpool were good value for their lead at half-time, but an entirely different team in the second half contributed to several defensive errors.
Greuther Furth equalised two minutes after the restart when Liverpool were caught out playing out from the back.
Just as they did in a win against Karlsruher in their pre-season opener last week, Nunez and Salah twice combined to put Liverpool 3-1 up.
In two pre-season matches Nunez has now scored three times, all from Salah assists, which will be of interest to Fantasy Premier League managers, especially as the former is owned by less than eight per cent of managers.

Three goals in the space of 10 minutes saw Liverpool trail 4-3, but they equalised in the 89th minute through Salah, who this time was the beneficiary of a Nunez assist.
Liverpool have scored eight goals and conceded six in their two pre-season matches so far.
