Managers in Fantasy Premier League will soon have an exciting new forward to consider, with Manchester United signing Rasmus Hojlund being priced at £7.0m.
The Dane scored nine goals and supplied two assists in 32 league appearances for Atalanta last term.
Essentially, he was involved in a goal every 166.9 minutes, as 12 of those outings were as a substitute.

While Hojlund will reportedly miss the first Gameweeks of 2023/24 due to injury, his arrival could have an impact on Marcus Rashford (£9.0m) and Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) in the medium term.
Rashford, the second most-owned midfielder in 2023/24 Fantasy at 45 per cent, looks set to spend less time playing up front, instead being deployed regularly on the left wing.
Fernandes should benefit from playing with Hojlund.
Fernandes made 118 key passes in 2022/23, more than any other player in Fantasy. But he collected just nine assists due to wasteful finishing from team-mates.
Most creative midfielders 2022/23
Player | Key Passes | Assists |
---|---|---|
Fernandes | 118 | 9 |
De Bruyne | 98 | 18 |
Gross | 80 | 8 |
Odegaard | 76 | 8 |
Saka | 75 | 12 |
By contrast, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne (£10.5m) earned 18 assists from 98 key passes.
As the lone striker for Erik ten Hag’s side, Hojlund can play a major part in 2023/24 Fantasy, allowing managers to reassess their forward lines and potentially reconsider the best way to cover Man Utd’s attack.
Fantasy prices have also been given to Manchester City's new defender Josko Gvardiol and Crystal Palace's Brazilian attacker Matheus Franca.
