Aston Villa will face either Hibernian or FC Luzern in the UEFA Europa Conference League playoff round following Monday's draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
Villa are in Europe for the first time in 13 years and will find out which of the two sides they will be up against on Thursday 17 August, following the conclusion of the second-leg tie between Hibs and Luzern.
Unai Emery's side will then travel to Easter Road or Swissporarena for their playoff first leg on Thursday 24 August, with the home tie taking place the following Thursday on 31 August.
Hibs finished fifth in the Scottish Premiership last season, while FC Luzern claimed fourth spot in the Swiss Super League.

"We are going to play this year, hopefully, a lot of matches,” Emery told Villa's official website.
“We are going to play a lot of matches, playing on Thursday and then on Sunday, with FA Cup and Carabao Cup. We did pre-season thinking that we have to work on different things tactically, and we did it."
Villa kick off their Premier League campaign at Newcastle United this Saturday, and Emery is pleased with the preparations after wrapping up the pre-season programme with a 2-1 win over Valencia.
