Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central, subject to international clearance and a work permit.
The Argentinian striker is Spurs' second signing of the day, following Micky van de Ven's move from Wolfsburg, and their sixth summer addition overall.
Veliz has agreed a six-year deal and will wear the No 36 shirt at Spurs.

The 19-year-old made his Rosario debut in 2021 and joins Spurs having made 62 club appearances, scoring 19 goals.
He represented his country at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup and Under-20 South American Championship earlier this year, scoring three goals in nine appearances in that age group.
Spurs play their final pre-season match ahead of the new season against Barcelona today.
Their first match of the new Premier League campaign is at Brentford on Sunday.
