Aston Villa have signed attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo on loan from Galatasaray, subject to a successful visa application.
The 24-year-old Italy international was a league champion with the Turkish club last season.
He is Villa's fourth senior signing of the summer transfer window, following Youri Tielemans, Pau Torres and Moussa Diaby - and can't wait to experience Premier League football.
"Aston Villa is one of the best teams in England and in the Premier League," he told VillaTV. "I want to play and show my quality.
“Unai Emery is one of the greatest coaches in the world. And for me, this is a big occasion to show my quality.

“For the team, it’s a chance to do big thing. The Premier League is the most important championship in the world.
“It was my dream when I was young that one day I would play in the Premier League. Now I’m here and I can’t wait to play."
Zaniolo made his breakthrough at Roma, helping Jose Mourinho's side to UEFA Europa Conference League success in 2022. He was named Serie A Young Player of the Year in 2018/19.

His arrival boosts head coach Emery's options following the long-term injury to Emiliano Buendia. Zaniolo can also play across the front line too.
Villa are next in Premier League action on Sunday 27 August when they host Everton.
