West Ham United have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus from Ajax.
The 23-year-old, who will wear the No 14 shirt, has agreed a five-year deal and is West Ham's fourth senior addition of the summer.
West Ham say they have "fought off intense competition from some of Europe’s leading clubs to secure the services of the exciting Ghana international".

“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” Kudus told the club's official website. "I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going.
“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.”
Who is Kudus?
Kudus scored six goals in the UEFA Champions League last season and has been capped 24 times for Ghana, scoring seven goals and providing three assists at international level.
He spent seven years at the Right to Dream football Academy, which he joined at the age of 10, before moving to Nordsjælland. He scored 14 goals in his 57 appearances across three seasons in Denmark.
Kudus moved to Ajax to play under then-manager Erik ten Hag, winning three trophies in three seasons with the club and ending 2022/23 with 19 goals and seven assists in all competitions.
He completed 91 dribbles in the Eredivisie last season, more than any other player, with his 4.6 successful take-ons per 90 minutes being the most on record in a single season in the competition since such data became available in 2010/11.
Mohammed Kudus completed 91 successful dribbles in Eredivisie games last season - at least 17 more than any other player in the Dutch top flight.
