Two promoted teams have added to their squads on the eve of the summer 2023 Transfer Deadline Day as Luton Town signed Teden Mengi and Burnley brought in Han-Noah Massengo.
Mengi joined from Manchester United and is their 11th addition of the summer transfer window.

"I just had to be real with myself and ask what’s going to be best for me. Stay and fight with United or go somewhere else and look for an opportunity. In the end I was honest with myself and took that option," Mengi told Luton's official website.
"Even before they got promoted the team were doing well. I like the way they play and with five at the back I feel I could fit in very well. After speaking to the manager, I feel as though I’ve got a good chance of making an impression here."
Mengi joined Man Utd as a seven-year-old and was managed by one of their legends, Wayne Rooney, during a loan spell with Derby County in February 2021.
Massengo arrives at Burnley
France Under-21 central midfielder Massengo has joined Burnley on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old was on Bristol City's books for the last four years, playing over 100 times for the Championship side, but went on loan to Ligue 1 side Auxerre in the second half of last season.

"The interest was there early and during the summer I just wanted to be here, I could see the manager and club wanted me and I wanted to be a part of it," he told Burnley's website. "It meant a lot to me."
