Mikel Arteta has praised the "tremendous" performance of Declan Rice following Arsenal's 3-1 win over Manchester United.
Rice, the £105million summer signing from West Ham United, fired Arsenal ahead in the sixth minute of stoppage time to score his first goal for the club, as he turned in yet another impressive display in midfield.

"It was a tremendous performance, when you look at how a holding midfielder needs to dominate," Arteta said.
"He then produced a magic moment to win us the game, so really happy with him.
“He is a great kid. He has a good mixture of being extremely demanding with everyone and himself, and having a bit of banter as well. He has fitted in brilliantly."

'We'll never give up'
That effort by Rice was the latest winning goal ever between the two Premier League heavyweights and the 24-year-old says it showed the fighting spirit of his team-mates.
“To score and feel the stadium erupt with the sigh of relief that we got the three points from such a massive fixture, it’s incredible and what we play football for,” Rice told the club's official website.
“To bounce back and show that fight and spirit and hunger with such a young team, you can see the mentality in the squad that we’ll never give up."
Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag, who thought his side had claimed a late winner when substitute Alejandro Garnacho's 88th minute goal was overturned for a narrow offside, said more luck was needed to leave with a win.
Indeed, it would have been the first time United had left Emirates Stadium victorious in six years.
“I think the performance is right from us. I think we played a very good game. But everything went against us and then, of course, then you don't win the game and if we had a little bit more luck, you win the game," Ten Hag said.
