Ollie Watkins has signed a new long-term contract with Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old has been one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League since Unai Emery took charge, scoring 21 times in 38 appearances in all competitions under the Spaniard.
Watkins' hat-trick against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend took his tally to 50 goals since he joined Villa in 2020.
"I'm really happy here," Watkins told the club website. "I feel like this is the best place for me to play my football. I've still got a lot to achieve here.
"You can see the direction of the club, and I want to be a part of that."
Our striker, signed and sealed. 😍

Watkins has scored seven goals in all competitions this season, including two hat-tricks, becoming the first Villa player to score two trebles in a single season since Andy Gray did it in the 1976/77 campaign.
He has been included in Gareth Southgate's squad for England's upcoming fixtures against Australia and Italy.
Villa are fifth in the league table after seven matches and visit local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
