The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts discuss what to do with Darwin Nunez (£7.6m), who has failed to score in his last seven Premier League matches and faces difficult fixtures against Arsenal and Newcastle United over the next three Gameweeks.
What the FPL experts say
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
If I owned Nunez, I would hold him this week. Most managers will have issues with Manchester City and Brentford players blanking, or those that are injured or suspended this week, and therefore selling Nunez probably isn't a priority.
By waiting a week we may have more understanding around Christopher Nkunku (£7.3m) at Chelsea, as well as having Julian Alvarez (£6.9m) back from the FIFA Club World Cup. There will be more options to swap Nunez to ahead of Gameweek 19 than there are this week. The only reason I would sell Nunez right now is to bring in Ollie Watkins (£8.6m), who faces Sheffield United at home.

I think Nunez needs to go. Over the last few matches he has posted poor underlying numbers in terms of chance creation and shots. The primary appeal with him was the sheer volume of big chances, but they're just not coming any more. Moving to Watkins or Dominic Solanke (£6.8m) is a good play.
Decision: Sell

While I would happily offload Nunez to accommodate Watkins, I will likely be holding the Liverpool forward knowing I can upgrade my eighth attacker to Watkins with the money I have in the bank from selling Erling Haaland (£13.9m). Not needing to sell Nunez for the money to reinvest elsewhere makes him a lower priority sell.
Decision: Hold

Nunez has had more yellow cards than goal involvements in the last four Gameweeks, so he's a sell for me. If you haven't got Watkins and you can find the extra money, he's the one to go for. Otherwise, Solanke and possibly Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.8m) are good alternatives.
Decision: Sell
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
Switch from Nunez to Watkins this week, but only if he is your sole problem. Otherwise wait a week and then you can consider Gabriel Jesus (£7.9m).
Decision: Sell
