Most assists in 2023/24
Two players lead the way for assists so far this season, and it is perhaps an unexpected pair. Usually tasked with scoring goals rather than setting them up, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins have turned provider this season, both having eight assists to their name.
Kieran Trippier follows just behind, having produced seven assists for Newcastle United this season, tied with Wolverhampton Wanderers' Pedro Neto.
There are EIGHT players with six assists, so the race for the Castrol Playmaker award is wide open.
