The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) group stages draw to a close in Ivory Coast this week, so many Premier League players are fighting to help their nation qualify for the knockout stages.
Sixteen teams have qualified for the next round of the tournament from the six groups.
Each group's top two teams automatically have gone through, while the four best-placed teams finishing third in their group joined them.

---|---|---|---|
Equatorial Guinea (Q) | 3 | 6 | 7 |
Nigeria (Q) | 3 | 2 | 7 |
Ivory Coast (Q) | 3 | -3 | 3 |
Guinea-Bissau | 3 | -5 | 0 |
On Monday, Nigeria beat Guinea-Bissau 1-0 to secure their spot in the round of 16. Brentford's Frank Onyeka, Fulham's Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, and Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina all featured for the Super Eagles.
Nigeria will now face Cameroon in the last 16 on Saturday 27 January.
There was worry, however, for host nation Ivory Coast as they finished third in Group A after they were beaten 4-0 by Equatorial Guinea.
Nott'm Forest's Ibrahim Sangare twice had equalisers ruled out for the Ivorians, who also had Willy Boly in their starting XI.
But results elsewhere fell their way and Ivory Coast will now face Senegal.

West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus is heading home after Ghana were held to a 2-2 draw by Mozambique and their hopes of finishing as one of the four best third-placed sides were ended by Cameroon's 3-2 win against Gambia. Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew struck a penalty in each half but two goals by Mozambique in second-half added time proved costly.
Egypt, missing the injured Mohamed Salah who has returned to Liverpool for treatment on a muscle injury, made it through after their 2-2 draw with Cape Verde, coupled with Ghana's late collapse, secured an unlikely second spot in Group B.
